Safe Sitter Essentials is the nationally recognized babysitting and safety course that prepares young teens to be responsible, confident, and genuinely ready to care for children. Whether your teen wants to babysit, stay home alone, or look after younger siblings, this class gives them the real-world skills to handle whatever comes up. Taught by a nurse with over 25 years of healthcare experience, in a small, non-clinical, calm, hands-on setting where every student gets personal attention.
Class registrations must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time to receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class may not be eligible for a refund. Coastal Heart Safety reserves the right to reschedule classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be offered a transfer to another class date if this occurs.
CPR and first aid training involve physical activity such as kneeling, bending, and performing chest compressions on training mannequins. By participating in class, students acknowledge that they are voluntarily engaging in these activities. Coastal Heart Safety and its instructor are not responsible for injuries that may occur during training. Parents or guardians must sign a participation and liability acknowledgment for minors attending Safe Sitter courses.
