Learn the essential lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR, and AED use so you're ready for anything. Perfect for parents, caregivers, workplace teams, and anyone who wants to be genuinely prepared. Taught by a nurse with over 25 years of healthcare experience, in the comfort of your own home or workplace.
You'll learn how to respond to injuries and medical emergencies, perform CPR, use an AED, and rescue a choking victim for adults, children, and infants so you can act with confidence when it matters most.
Cancellation Policy:
Class registrations must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time to receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class may not be eligible for a refund. Coastal Heart Safety reserves the right to reschedule classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be offered a transfer to another class date if this occurs.
Liability Notice
CPR and first aid training involve physical activity such as kneeling, bending, and performing chest compressions on training mannequins. By participating in class, students acknowledge that they are voluntarily engaging in these activities. Coastal Heart Safety and its instructor are not responsible for injuries that may occur during training. Parents or guardians must sign a participation and liability acknowledgment for minors attending Safe Sitter courses.
All participants are required to complete the Training Participation & Liability Waiver prior to training. We recommend downloading and printing it out to complete, or emailing the digitally signed copy to missy@coastalheartsafety.com. Please let us know if you need any accommodations in completing the form.
Upon successful completion you receive an official AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR & AED course completion card, valid for two years and recognized nationwide.

In about 2.5 hours you'll build hands-on proficiency in four core skills:
First aid for injuries and medical emergencies
You'll learn how to assess and respond to common emergencies including severe bleeding, shock, heart attack, stroke, allergic reactions, and seizures. Real skills for real situations, taught calmly and clearly.CPR for adults, children, and infants
Hands-on practice with feedback on compression rate, depth, and technique across all age groups. You'll know exactly what to do and feel confident doing it.AED use
Step-by-step practice on how to operate an automated external defibrillator, including pad placement and how to coordinate AED use alongside CPR.Choking rescue
Responsive and unresponsive choking management for adults, children, and infants. You'll learn the differences in technique by age and how to act fast when every second counts. -
We provide concierge-style training that comes directly to you. Whether at your home or on-site at your workplace, we bring everything needed for a full hands-on class. Please be sure to include the full address of your preferred training location when booking.

Our classes are intentionally kept small so you get real hands-on time and space to ask questions. For groups of 8 or more, we offer dedicated group sessions. Just reach out and we will put something together for you.
